Role: Head of Wealth and Capital Markets Platforms

Location: Abu Dhabi

Role Purpose

To lead the strategic design governance and delivery of platform capabilities underpinning Banks Wealth and Capital Markets business enabling seamless Shariah-compliant investment experiences across traditional and digital channels. This role will architect and deliver scalable platforms for advisory capital markets access portfolio management and emerging digital asset solutions aligned with Banks innovation agenda customer needs and regulatory obligations

Key Accountabilities of the role

Platform Strategy & Delivery

• Define and drive the integrated Wealth and Capital Markets platform roadmap to support advisoryportfolio managementcapital markets and digital asset offerings.
• Ensure delivery of scalable APl-enabled platformsthat support omnichannel investment journeys for both RM-led and self-directed clients.

Platform Development & Integration

• Deep understanding of wealth managementworkflows financial planning trading billing risk and regulations.
• Defineandownwealthtechplatformstrategyalignedwith overall business objectives and digital transformation goals.
• Own platform architecture driving simplificationand optimization to enhance cost efficiency and operational performance.
• Oversee end-t o-end delivery of scalable reliablewealth tech solutions integrated with custodian market data provides compliance systems.
• Modernize legacy platforms such as transitioning tomicro services APls.
• Evaluate and integrate emerging technologies(Al/ML robe-advisory analytics open banking API etc. into platform roadmap.

Capital Markets Infrastructure

• Lead platform integration for real-time tradingorder management market data and settlements across retail and institutional clients.
• Oversee core platforms including BankGTN US Murabaha Trading and Trade Net (mobile online financials)

Digital Assets Innovation

• Deliver Banks digital asset platform capabilitiesincluding tokenized sukuksIslamic -compliant digital securities and programmable assets
• Align digital asset strategies with financial inclusion goals (-investments) stablecoin adoption and Central Bank DigitalCurrency (CBDC)readiness.
• Engage with evolving regulatory frame worksacross ESCA DFSA ADGM and CBUAE ensuring robust complianceand early-moveradvantage

Data-Driven Advisory&Analytics

• Drive the exploration and integration of Al to unlock new customer-facing opportunities enhance automation by reducing reliance on manual processes and proactively define strategic and architectural responses to the transformative impact of Al on the future of banking services.
• Enable portfolio intelligence decision support and personalized advisory through advanced analytics and behavioralinsights.
• Embed data capabilities to support performance dashboardsriskprofilingandportfolio simulations

Governance Risk & Compliance

• Partner with internal risk and compliance teams to embed AAOIFl-aligned controls investment suitability checks and regulatory reporting acrossplatforms.
• Leadplatformreadinessforregulatoryshiftsacrosswealth and capitalmarkets.
• Compliance&Security
• Ensure platforms comply with internallocal international regulatory risk management data privacy and cyber securitystandards.
• Implement automated compliance controls such as trade surveillance client suitability checks etc.

Vendor & Budget Management

• Build and manage vendor relationships partnerships and potential fintechcollaborations.
• Own technology budget ensuring ROI on investments.
