Job summary

Midea Group in Dubai seeks a Head of Supply Chain to lead our end-to-end operations, from S&OP and procurement to ocean shipment and local logistics. The successful candidate will develop and implement strategies to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and strengthen supplier relationships while guiding a growing team.

The role reports to the General Manager and collaborates with HQ SC and other functions to align with company goals, while building a robust warehousing network and ensuring

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement supply chain strategies aligning with business objectives and market demands.

• Lead End to End S&OP processes and maintain healthy inventory turnover.
• Oversee procurement of finished goods from Midea China and overseas factories; coordinate inbound/outbound logistics and cost-saving initiatives.
• Lead and develop the supply chain team and coordinate with HQ SC and other departments to align with company goals.
• Implement digital tools for supply chain efficiency in collaboration with HQ.

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly experienced Head of Supply Chain to lead our supply chain operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing the entire supply chain process, from S&OP, procurement, ocean shipment to local logistic, ensuring that all operations run smoothly and efficiently. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing supply chain strategies that will enhance the company's operations and improve its bottom line. Responsibilities

• Supply Chain Strategy: Develop and implement supply chain strategies that align with the company's overall business objectives and market demands.
• Warehousing & Distribution Network: Build the warehouse and distribution network from 0~1 which is tailored to customer demands, optimizing cost, speed, and service levels.
• End to End Supply Management S&OP: Implement S&OP process and keep a health inventory level with a efficient inventory turnover.
• Procurement: Manage the finish goods procurement from Midea Chinese and other overseas factories.inbound/outbound logistics: Coordinate inbound/outbound logistics, including customs clearance, transportation partnerships, and continues cost saving solutions.
• Team Building: Manage and lead new team, providing guidance and support to ensure that all team members are performing at their best.
• Collaborate with HQ SC team and other departments to ensure that supply chain operations are aligned with the company's overall strategy and goals.
• Other related responsibility: Digital tool implementation: Build up the SC digital tool with assistance from HQ to improve efficiency.
• Risk Mitigation and Compliance: Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards related to supply chain management.

Requirements for the role

• At least 10 years of experience in supply chain management Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with suppliers, vendors, and other stakeholders Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
