Overview

Black & Grey HR is partnering with a diversified holding group to appoint a Head of Strategy. This is a group-level leadership role, working closely with the CEO and Board, responsible for shaping and executing the organization’s overall strategic agenda, driving growth, transformation, and long-term value creation across the portfolio.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead group strategy, enterprise planning, and performance management across businesses.
  • Identify and evaluate growth opportunities, M&A, investments, and new ventures.
  • Drive commercial due diligence, feasibility studies, and transaction execution.
  • Partner with business leaders to optimize portfolio performance, synergies, and returns.
  • Act as a strategic advisor to the CEO and Board; lead board-level strategy and investment discussions.
  • Champion transformation initiatives and a data-driven, performance-focused culture.
Requirements
  • MBA or equivalent postgraduate qualification from a reputed institution.
  • 15+ years of progressive experience in leadership roles within large or diversified organizations.
  • Prior exposure to multi-sector or holding company environments is strongly preferred.
  • Demonstrated track record in M&A, investments, and business expansion.
  • Exceptional strategic thinking, analytical rigor, and commercial acumen.
  • Strong executive presence with the ability to influence senior stakeholders and boards.
  • Comfortable operating across industries, cultures, and levels of seniority.
  • Sound judgment, high ownership mindset, and the ability to drive strategy through execution.
