Job summary

Cognita is seeking a Head of School Solutions in Dubai to own and standardise our enterprise school-app portfolio, including MIS, timetabling, parent communication, and LMS. You will lead delivery, manage vendors, and shape the roadmap to improve life in Cognita schools.

You will guide a distributed team across Europe, the Middle East, and Asia, focusing on vendor management and adoption while ensuring strong educational outcomes. This role sits in Dubai four days per week.

Qualifications

• Experience in the education sector.
• Excellent stakeholder management and ability to converse with headteachers and senior education leaders.
• Technology leadership and product ownership in school MIS or education applications.
• Track record of leading teams and delivering complex rollouts across multiple sites.
• Strong vendor, service-management and change/adoption skills.
• A schools-first mindset; global or multi-country exposure is a plus.
• Nice to have: ITIL or Agile/project-management certification.

Responsibilities

• Own the School Solutions roadmap, working with Education teams and school leaders.
• Simplify and standardise the school systems landscape while protecting local needs.
• Lead rollouts, upgrades and continuous improvements across multiple schools/regions.
• Drive service quality, SLAs and incident management with clear ownership.
• Manage vendor performance, licensing and renewals.
• Lead and develop a distributed team across Europe, the Middle East and Asia.
