Job summary

Muna British Academy in Abu Dhabi is seeking an outstanding Teacher of Food and Nutrition to commence in 2027–2028 academic year. The school has held an 'Outstanding' ADEK rating since 2015 and relocated to a new campus in Saadiyat Lagoons, expanding to Year 13 in the near future.

We invite passionate educators with a Bachelor’s degree and PGCE, plus at least two years’ experience delivering the English National Curriculum and supporting EAL students.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in a related subject with PGCE or equivalent teaching qualification.
• Experience delivering the English National Curriculum.
• Experience working with students for whom English is not their first language (EAL).

Responsibilities

• Deliver Food and Nutrition lessons within the English National Curriculum.
• Support EAL students to access curriculum effectively.
• Collaborate with colleagues to plan and develop cross-curricular activities.
• Engage with parents and stakeholders to discuss student progress.
• Demonstrate professionalism and commitment to student well-being.
• Participate in extra-curricular activities and school events.
