Job summary

A high-growth solar energy provider in Dubai is seeking a Head of Legal to partner with executive management and oversee legal support for commercial and industrial solar projects. The role involves negotiating contracts, ensuring compliance with UAE energy regulations, and advising on legal strategies. The ideal candidate will have 8-12 years of PQE, strong experience in project contracts and regulatory matters, and familiarity with GCC legal frameworks. Fluency in English is required, and Arabic is a plus.

Qualifications

• Must have strong experience in project contracts, M&A, and regulatory matters.
• Experience from energy and infrastructure industries preferred.
• Familiarity with GCC legal frameworks is essential.

Responsibilities

• Negotiate PPAs, solar leases, EPC, O&M agreements, supply contracts.
• Ensure compliance with UAE energy regulations.
• Support corporate structuring and market entry.
• Establish contract templates and compliance policies.
• Advise management on legal strategy and risks.
• Manage external counsels on financing and M&A.
