Responsibilities

• Develop and implement long-term investment and M&A strategies aligned with objectives, risk appetite and capital priorities.
• Identify and assess investment opportunities across infrastructure, real estate and related sectors, including acquisitions, concessions and strategic partnerships.
• Lead market intelligence, investment screening and deal origination across regional and international markets.
• Build and maintain relationships with investment banks, advisory firms, institutional investors, government entities and strategic partners.
• Evaluate potential investments based on strategic alignment, commercial viability, financial returns and risk exposure.
• Support M&A transactions, including due diligence, valuation, deal structuring, negotiations and investment recommendations.
• Advise on PPPs, joint ventures, concession arrangements and investment financing structures.
• Prepare investment proposals and strategic recommendations for senior leadership and investment committees.
• Collaborate with finance, legal, risk and commercial stakeholders to advance investment opportunities.

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Head of Investment Strategy to lead the development of long-term investment and M&A strategies for a diversified organisation with interests across infrastructure, real estate and related assets.

The successful candidate will identify and originate investment opportunities, evaluate strategic partnerships and acquisitions, and engage with senior stakeholders to support international expansion and sustainable portfolio growth.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement long-term investment and M&A strategies aligned with corporate objectives, risk appetite and capital allocation priorities.
• Identify and assess investment opportunities across infrastructure, real estate and related sectors, including acquisitions, concessions and strategic partnerships.
• Lead market intelligence, investment screening and deal origination activities across regional and international markets.
• Build and maintain relationships with investment banks, advisory firms, institutional investors, government entities and strategic partners.
• Evaluate potential investments based on strategic alignment, commercial viability, financial returns and risk exposure.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration or a related discipline; MBA preferred.
• Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in investment banking, private equity, corporate development, infrastructure investments or M&A.
• Demonstrated experience in investment strategy, deal origination, acquisitions and transaction evaluation.
• Strong understanding of infrastructure investment models, PPPs, concession agreements and investment structuring.
• Experience engaging with government entities, institutional investors and senior executive stakeholders.
• Excellent commercial judgement, financial acumen, negotiation and strategic decision-making skills.
• Experience in aviation or infrastructure-related investments would be highly advantageous.
