The role requires strong technical knowledge, commercial acumen and leadership to drive profitability, manage risk and collaborate with procurement and design teams.

Qualifikationen

• Degree or diploma in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering or a related field.
• Extensive experience in estimation within interiors, fit-out, decorative solutions or specialist contracting.
• Proven experience leading an estimation team and managing multiple tenders.
• Strong expertise in BOQs, quantity take-offs, cost planning and tender pricing.
• Knowledge of UAE construction costs, suppliers and subcontractor markets.
• Proficiency in estimation software, AutoCAD and Microsoft Excel.
• Strong commercial, analytical, negotiation and leadership skills.

Aufgaben

• Lead the estimation team and oversee end-to-end tendering and pricing activities.
• Prepare and review BOQs, quantity take-offs, cost estimates and tender submissions.
• Analyse drawings, specifications and project requirements to ensure accurate costing.
• Develop competitive pricing strategies, budgets and cost breakdowns for materials, labour and subcontractors.
• Coordinate with procurement, suppliers and subcontractors to obtain competitive quotations.
• Identify cost optimisation opportunities, commercial risks and value engineering solutions.
• Collaborate with management, design and project teams to ensure pricing accuracy and project profitability.
• Maintain cost databases, estimation benchmarks and standard pricing procedures

Black & Grey is recruiting for a leading interiors and decorative solutions company specialising in bespoke design and execution, based in Dubai, UAE. The Head of Estimation will lead the estimation and cost planning function, overseeing the preparation of accurate and commercially competitive cost estimates for bespoke interior, decorative and specialist contracting projects. The role requires strong technical knowledge, commercial acumen and the ability to manage the complete tendering and estimation process, from initial enquiry and quantity take-offs through to final submission and handover.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the estimation team and oversee end-to-end tendering and pricing activities.
