Job summary

Luxridge Building Contracting LLC in Dubai seeks a senior design leader to head the design department and oversee the end-to-end design process for high-rise residential projects from concept to construction.

The ideal candidate has 10–15 years of Dubai consultancy experience, strong AutoCAD and Revit skills, and proven leadership of multidisciplinary teams, with a solid grasp of Dubai codes and approval processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Interior Design, or related discipline.
• 10–15 years of consultancy experience in Dubai.
• Experience on high-rise residential projects in Dubai.
• Strong knowledge of Dubai building codes, authority approval processes, and local standards.
• Hands-on experience in PC & PS items, materials and supplier coordination.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design department and manage the end-to-end design process from concept to construction.
• Develop design concepts, layouts and space planning for high-rise residential projects and common areas.
• Review, approve and coordinate all architectural and interior design drawings, details and specifications.
• Coordinate with consultants, project managers, engineers, suppliers and subcontractors.
• Ensure design solutions are technically feasible, cost-effective and aligned with construction methodologies.
• Provide design development and material selection for all PC/PS items.
• Mentor and guide the design team; conduct design reviews and value engineering.
• Support tendering, pre-contract and value engineering stages with design inputs.
