Job summary

Noorex in Dubai is seeking a Head of Data & AI to lead and scale the Data & AI function for a government-backed organisation. You will manage a team of 7 Data & AI professionals, report to C-level leadership, and own the data strategy, architecture and delivery as the organisation scales its AI capabilities.

You will drive production AI/ML, GenAI, and LLM solutions, oversee data platforms and MLOps, and work closely with executives on priorities, budgets, and governance to ensure secure,

Qualifications

• Strong experience leading Data & AI teams.
• Proven experience building or scaling technical teams.
• Strong background across Data Engineering, AI/ML and modern data architecture.
• Experience delivering AI/ML solutions into production.
• Knowledge of GenAI, LLMs and cloud technologies.

Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor and scale the Data & AI team.
• Own the Data & AI strategy and technical roadmap.
• Lead delivery of production AI/ML, Generative AI, LLM and Agentic AI solutions.
• Oversee modern data platforms, engineering and AI architecture.
• Establish best practices across Data Engineering, AI/ML and MLOps/LLMOps.
• Work directly with C-level stakeholders on priorities, investment and delivery.
• Ensure solutions meet security, governance and scalability requirements.
