Job summary

Marlin Selection is assisting a leading international gold trading business in Dubai to appoint a Head of Compliance. This senior role leads the compliance function and shapes the framework for a sophisticated trading operation.

The candidate will oversee AML/CFT, sanctions, KYC/CDD, and enhanced due diligence, ensuring alignment with UAE law and industry standards while supporting commercial growth.

Qualifications

• Senior compliance professional with significant leadership experience.
• Strong UAE AML/CFT and sanctions knowledge.
• Experience in gold, precious metals, commodities, trading or related financial services.
• Deep understanding of KYC, CDD/EDD, transaction monitoring and financial crime risk.
• Experience engaging with regulators, banks, auditors and senior management.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Compliance function and act as a senior point of contact for regulatory matters.
• Develop, implement and maintain the company's compliance framework, policies and procedures.
• Oversee AML, CFT, sanctions, KYC, customer due diligence and enhanced due diligence frameworks.
• Ensure compliance with UAE legislation, regulatory requirements and industry standards for trading.
