Job summary

The Arts Club Dubai in DIFC invites an experienced Head of Cigars to lead the Club’s cigar programme, manage humidors and vendor relations, and elevate the member experience at the Cigar Lounge from September 2026.

You will train the team, host tastings, ensure impeccable presentation, and maintain stock accuracy while delivering warm, professional service in a luxury setting.

Qualifications

• 3-4 years experience in a similar role.
• Internationally recognized professional certification.
• Excellent level of English.
• Strong organisational and time management skills with a high degree of flexibility.
• Excellent team management, communication and listening skills.
• Demonstrate integrity in all dealings and maintain high level of confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Curate and manage the Club’s cigar programme, ensuring the list is up to date with vintages, descriptions and pricing.
• Take ownership of humidor management, storage, stock levels and quality.
• Build and maintain supplier relationships for premium cigars.
• Provide cigar, wine and spirit pairing recommendations for members and guests.
• Act as ambassador, hosting tastings and sharing expertise with members and staff.
• Assist members and guests with cigar selections while delivering warm, professional service.
• Maintain humidors, displays and lounges in line with Club standards.
• Train the team on cigar knowledge and service excellence.

We are currently seeking a passionate and knowledgeable Head of Cigar to join our team from September 2026 and elevate the cigar experience for our esteemed guests.The Head of Cigars is responsible for ensuring a smooth running of service in the Cigar Lounge and focusing on delivering the maximum members and guests’ satisfaction, while taking care that the Club’s highest standards and procedures are adhered to at all times.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

• Curate and manage the Club’s cigar programme, ensuring the cigar list is always up to date with accurate vintages, descriptions and pricing.
• Take ownership of humidor management, maintaining optimal storage conditions, stock levels, inventory accuracy and product quality at all times.
• Build and maintain strong supplier relationships, sourcing premium and exclusive cigars that enhance the member experience.
• Provide expert cigar, wine and spirit pairing recommendations, creating memorable and personalised experiences for members and guests.
• Act as the Club’s cigar ambassador, delivering exceptional product knowledge, hosting tastings and sharing expertise with both members and the wider team.
• Assist members and guests with cigar selections while consistently delivering warm, professional and attentive service.
• Ensure humidors, cigar displays and lounge areas are impeccably maintained, organised and presented in line with Club standards.
• Train and develop the team on cigar knowledge, storage standards and service excellence to uphold a world-class cigar experience.
