HEAD CHEF - ABU DHABI

Overview

We are currently seeking a specialist Head Chef for a restaurant specialising in Levantine cuisine. The Head Chef will be an culinary expert who directs all kitchen operations, specializing in the diverse and authentic flavors of the Levant region. This role requires a blend of management skills and deep culinary knowledge to ensure authenticity, quality, and creativity.

We are looking for someone that is passionate about the industry, has high energy and a great personality!

Responsibilities
  • Lead the entire kitchen team, including the daily preparation, live service, and kitchen administration. This involves assigning tasks, creating a work roster, and managing staff issues.
  • Create, develop, and maintain authentic and innovative menus that showcase the rich culinary heritage of the Levant, including hot and cold mezze, grilled meats, pastries, and desserts.
  • Ensure consistency in the taste, presentation, and quality of all dishes. The head chef is the final authority for approving all prepared food before it is served.
  • Implement cost-control strategies by monitoring food waste, managing inventory, and liaising with suppliers for quality ingredients at affordable prices.
  • Enforce strict adherence to food safety and sanitation regulations, including HACCP standards, and maintain a clean and organized kitchen.
