About the Role
We are seeking a passionate and experienced Head Baker to lead our bakery operations and deliver exceptional quality baked goods. The ideal candidate will be skilled in artisanal bread, viennoiserie, pastries, and dessert production, with a strong sense of creativity and consistency.
As Head Baker, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of bakery production, ensuring excellence in taste, texture, presentation, and hygiene standards.
Key Responsibilities
Lead the daily preparation of breads, pastries, and other baked goods
Develop and execute new recipes in line with the restaurant’s vision
Manage and train the bakery team, ensuring proper techniques and efficiency
Oversee inventory, ingredient sourcing, and cost control
Ensure consistent quality and presentation of all bakery items
Maintain hygiene, food safety, and cleanliness standards according to HACCP and local regulations
Collaborate with chefs and management for menu planning and seasonal offerings
Monitor oven and equipment maintenance and ensure smooth operations
Requirements
Proven experience as a Head Baker or Senior Baker in a high-end bakery or fine dining setting
Strong knowledge of artisanal bread making, sourdough, viennoiserie, and European-style pastries
Formal culinary or baking education is preferred
Excellent leadership, time management, and organizational skills
Attention to detail and commitment to excellence
Knowledge of food safety standards and best practices
Ability to work early morning shifts and in a fast-paced environment
