Job summary

Confidential Company in the UAE is seeking an experienced Gypsum Engineer to oversee gypsum partition, ceiling and finishing projects across multiple sites. The role requires strong project management skills and the ability to lead engineering teams, coordinate with clients and drive timely delivery.

You will support business development, manage payments and certificates, ensure health and safety compliance, and optimize resources.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Civil Engineering or related field.
• 3–4 years UAE experience in gypsum and interior fit-out projects.
• Driving license in UAE preferred.
• Strong knowledge of gypsum systems, interior fit-out works and UAE construction standards.
• Excellent leadership, communication and project management skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage and supervise all site engineers and project teams.
• Plan, execute and monitor multiple gypsum and interior fit-out projects simultaneously.
• Ensure projects are completed on time, within budget and to required quality standards.
• Coordinate with clients, consultants, subcontractors, suppliers and internal departments.
• Prepare project schedules, work plans and progress reports.
• Attend site meetings and resolve technical and operational issues.
• Monitor project costs and optimize resource utilization.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety and quality standards.
• Support business development by meeting clients and assisting in securing new projects.
• Manage project-related sales activities and maintain strong client relationships.
• Follow up on customer payments and ensure timely collections.
• Prepare, submit and follow up on interim and final payment certificates.
• Coordinate project handovers, snag rectification and project close-out documentation.
• Report project progress, financial status and operational updates to senior management.
