Job summary

Client of 2COMs in Dubai seeks an experienced Gypsum Carpenter for interior and fit-out projects. You will install gypsum boards, construct false ceilings, partitions, framing and perform finishing work on-site.

Candidates should have 2-3 years of relevant experience, knowledge of gypsum board installation and finishing, ability to read drawings, measure, cut, and work with carpentry tools. Physically able to work at construction sites and adhere to safety rules.

Qualifications

2-3 years of relevant experience as a Gypsum Carpenter.
Experience in interior or fit-out projects preferred.
Knowledge of gypsum board installation and finishing.
Ability to read basic drawings and measurements.

Responsibilities

Install gypsum boards, drywall, and partition systems as per project requirements.
Construct false ceilings, wall partitions, and decorative gypsum structures.
Measure, cut, and fix gypsum boards accurately.
Install metal frames, channels, studs and supporting structures.
Perform gypsum ceiling and partition finishing work.
Carry out joint filling, sanding and surface preparation for painting.
Read and understand basic drawings, measurements and layouts.
Ensure proper alignment, level and finishing of gypsum installations.
Repair and modify existing gypsum structures when required.
Coordinate with other trades and site supervisors.
Follow site safety rules and company procedures.
