A luxury hotel brand in Dubai seeks a Guest Services Agent to manage guest check-ins and check-outs while providing exceptional customer service. Responsibilities include confirming reservations, coordinating with Housekeeping, and addressing guest inquiries. A high school diploma is required; no prior work experience is necessary. Process all guest check‑ins by confirming reservations, assigning rooms, and issuing and activating room keys. Process all payment types, including room charges, cash, checks, debit, or credit. Process all check‑outs, resolving any late or disputed charges. Answer, record, and process all guest calls, messages, requests, questions, or concerns. Coordinate with Housekeeping to track room readiness for check‑in. Communicate parking procedures and dispatch bell or valet staff as needed. Supply guests with directions and information about the property and local areas of interest. Run daily reports (arrivals and departures), identify special requests, and verify accuracy of reports. Complete cashier and closing reports in the computer system. Cash guests' personal checks and traveler's checks. Count the bank at the beginning and end of shift. Balance and drop receipts according to accounting specifications. Follow all company safety and security policies and report any incidents to management. Maintain a clean, professional appearance, confidentiality of proprietary information, and protect company assets. Welcome and acknowledge all guests per company standards, anticipate and address service needs, assist individuals with disabilities, and express genuine appreciation. Use clear and professional language, answer telephones with appropriate etiquette, and develop positive working relationships. Comply with quality assurance expectations and standards. Stand, sit, or walk for an extended period. Move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 10 pounds without assistance. Perform other reasonable duties as requested by supervisors.
