Position Overview:

The Group Billing Manager will be responsible for leading and overseeing all billing operations across King’s College Hospital London UAE, including the Main Hospital, Satellite Clinics, Physiotherapy Center, and Pharmacies. This role aims to drive standardization, compliance, and efficiency across all billing processes while ensuring accurate and timely revenue capture and enhancing patient satisfaction.

Key Accountabilities:

• Oversee day-to-day billing operations across all service points: Outpatient, Inpatient, Emergency, Pharmacy, Physiotherapy, and Satellite Clinics.
• Establish and enforce standardized billing protocols and procedures across all business units to ensure consistency and accuracy.

Standardization & Optimization:

• Develop and implement unified billing workflows, leveraging automation where possible.
• Ensure billing practices align with payer policies, regulatory requirements, and internal compliance standards.
• Standardize pricing structures and charge capture methodologies across all facilities.

Team Management & Training:

• Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing billing team across multiple sites.
• Ensure adequate staffing, training, and competency in billing practices and technologies.

Revenue Integrity & Compliance:

• Ensure accurate charge capture and billing through regular audits and collaboration with clinical and IT teams.
• Monitor denial trends and coordinate with the claims and coding teams to minimize revenue leakage.

Digitization and Automation

• Analyze billing data to identify trends, inefficiencies, and areas for process enhancement.
• Work closely with IT and other operational teams to implement tools that support billing optimization.

Reporting & Analytics:

• Prepare and present regular reports on billing performance, outstanding accounts, denial rates, and collection trends.
• Use data to drive decision-making and improve billing KPIs.

Provide monthly performance updates to senior leadership.

Education & Qualification, Experience, Training & Knowledge:

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, Healthcare Management or related field (Master’s preferred).

Experience:
