Job summary

United Al Saqer Group is seeking an experienced pet groomer to join our practice in Abu Dhabi. You will groom pets, follow owners’ instructions, and maintain high safety and hygiene standards.

The role requires 4+ years in grooming, strong English skills, and knowledge of the UAE market. Arabic is a plus. You will work closely with the team across clinic areas to ensure excellent customer service and pet care.

Qualifications

• At least 4 years of experience as a pet groomer.
• Proficiency in English is required; knowledge of Arabic is advantageous.
• Experience in the UAE veterinary market and collaborating with local veterinary organizations is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Dematting and detangling hair as required.
• Bathing, conditioning, and drying pets.
• Trimming nails, brushing teeth, and cleaning ears.
• Grooming and styling according to owners' instructions or standard styles.
• Accommodating special requests from pet owners.
• Identifying health issues and informing owners of observations.
• Ensuring all pets are safe during grooming.
• Routinely cleaning work areas.
• Recommending suitable products to owners.
• Collaborating with colleagues to support a culture of teamwork.

• Dematting and detangling hair as required.
• Bathing, conditioning, and drying pets.
• Trimming pets' nails, brushing their teeth, and cleaning their ears.
• Grooming and styling pets according to owners' instructions or standard grooming styles.
• Accommodating special requests from pet owners.
• Identifying health issues such as ear infections, skin conditions, or tooth decay and informing owners of these observations.
• Ensuring all pets are safe during grooming.
• Routinely cleaning work areas.
• Recommending suitable products to pet owners.
• Working closely with all colleagues to nurture a culture of collaboration and teamwork.
• Providing support to the rest of the team in areas such as retail, clinic, physiotherapy, daycare, and pet taxi when needed.
