Curtin Dubai seeks a Design Lecturer to deliver high-quality teaching in design disciplines, cultivate creativity, and develop curricula aligned with industry trends. The role involves assessing student work, providing feedback, and contributing to curriculum development and scholarly activity.

The position requires a doctoral in Design or a near-completion with extensive teaching experience, and expertise in Adobe Creative Suite, Sketch, or Figma.

Qualifications

• Doctoral degree in Design or nearing completion, or a masters with extensive practice in design.
• Minimum of 5 years teaching experience at undergraduate level with demonstrated excellence.
• Expertise in Adobe Creative Suite and design tools such as Sketch, Figma or similar.

Responsibilities

• Deliver lectures, tutorials, workshops and labs; assess examinations and assignments; provide feedback and mentoring.
• Support student success, employability, and engagement through internships, capstone projects and industry collaborations.
• Develop partnerships with industry and external organizations; promote programs and participate in outreach activities.
• Collaborate with Head of Schools Business and Humanities at Curtin Dubai and unit coordinators at Curtin Perth.
