Roles & Responsibilities
- Creates designs, calculations, sketches, diagrams, schematic drawings, and final working drawings related to wet utilities.
- Performs pump system engineering calculations.
- Performs hydraulic modelling analysis for pressure and gravity networks.
- Contributes to technical report writing and data/analysis summary tables and exhibits.
- Develop the Design report/specifications for various projects.
- To perform work with minimum supervision.
- To work in various CDE- ProjectWise, BIM 360, MS Teams, SharePoint sites, etc.
- To perform Utility Clash analysis and clash resolution exercise.
- To perform quality control checks of design calculations or drawings.
- Should be able to present design solutions in meetings with clients/LPOs as required.
- Apply AtkinsRéalis Quality, Safety & Environmental (QSE) standards and Business Management System (BMS).
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree or master’s degree in civil/environmental engineering from a reputed institute.
- A minimum of 1-3 years of experience in the Water & Wastewater Industry.
- Proven experience in Wet utilities design (Storm water, Wastewater, Potable water and TSE) for UK, Middle East and other regions.
- Proficiency with software such as Microdrainage, CivilStorm, SewerGEMS/WaterGEMS.
- Working knowledge of BIM platforms like Civil3D, MicroStation and/or OpenRoads/InRoads/MX Road, Revit.
- Navisworks knowledge.
- Experience with International Standards and Middle East Standards.
- Experience leading and delivering major infrastructure projects at Master plan, Concept and Detailed Design stages.
- Engineering consultancy experience is preferred.
