Job summary

DU in Dubai is launching The FutureX Graduate Trainee Programme, a 12‑month accelerated development journey designed to build forensic audit skills and professional networks.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or related field.
• Accounting coursework or certifications completed.
• Strong analytical abilities and problem solving.
• Proficient in English and Arabic communication.

Responsibilities

• Conduct Forensic audits as assigned by the Senior Director Forensic Audit.
• Serve as designated Whistle Blowing officer in Forensic Assignment.
• Prioritize forensic tasks based on criteria and workload.
• Plan audits including objectives, scope and approach.
• Follow up on due actions with business owners.
• Maintain stakeholder relationships and communicate clearly.
• Prepare memos, closure reports and executive presentations.

Key Accountabilities

• Conduct Forensic audit referred by the Senior Director Forensic Audit
• Designated Whistle Blowing officer in Forensic Assignment
• Prioritize forensic assignment based on Forensic Criteria and Workload referred by Director of Forensic Audit
• Conduct Forensic investigation professionally and timely manner based on information received from Whistle blowing channel or from management or highlighted in line with the Forensics Methodology
• Plan the audit assignments including objectives and scope and the audit approach
• Follow up the status of agreed due action plans to ensure proper implementation with the business owners based on the cases investigated
• Establish and retain effective working relationships with relevant stakeholders and communicate clearly and effectively both orally and in writing
• Maintain current knowledge of developments related to business matters of interest to internal audit particularly forensic Area and developments as they affect du and new auditing techniques and practices
• Professional development and knowledge sharing by developing professional skills work as a team player share knowledge information ideas and experience to assist the others
• Issuing memos and closure reports and summary presentations to the executive management via Director Forensic Audit

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
• Candidates should have completed relevant accounting courses or certifications as part of their academic curriculum.
