Job summary

Wood plc in Dubai is seeking a Graduate Process Engineer to perform refinement of layout and equipment sizing for petrochemical projects on a long-term contract basis.

The role requires a Chemical Engineering degree with a preference for oil/petrochemical specialization, and hands-on experience using HYSYS and PIPELINESTUDIO. You will work with draftsmen to ensure timely delivery of design inputs and deliverables.

Qualifications

• BE/BTech/BSc in Chemical Engineering.
• Oil/Petrochemical engineering specialization preferred.
• Hands-on experience with HYSYS and PIPELINESTUDIO.

Responsibilities

• Refine layout and detail engineering for projects.
• Prepare design deliverables such as P&IDs, process datasheets, HAZOP records.
• Coordinate with draftsmen to meet project schedules.

Overview / Duties: Wood is currently recruiting for a Grad Refine Engineer to be based in Dubai on a long-term contract/assignment. The prospective candidate must perform the following duties:

• Refine Layout & Detail Engineering consisting of performing procedure simulations, style estimations, sizing & option of equipment etc. for projects.
• Prep work of different design deliverables (Drawings & Documents) such as Refine Circulation Diagrams, P & I Diagrams, Process Datasheets, Cause & Impact Diagrams, Viewpoints, HAZOP Studies & records, etc and offering necessary design inputs to the various other self-controls.
• Appointing obligations to Draftsmen, as well as checking to satisfy the project routine.

Abilities / Credentials:

• B.E./ B. Technology./ B.S.-- Chemical Engineering
• Specialization in Oil/ Petro Chemical Engineering liked.
• Hands on experience in software such as HYSYS, PIPELINESTUDIO.
