Start your professional journey as a Graduate Mechanical Engineer based in Al Ain, where you will be an integral part of our Utilities team, contributing to infrastructure and land development projects across the Al Ain Region. This role offers exposure to strategic initiatives such as underpass and road network improvements, as well as involvement in infrastructure projects supporting mega food security initiatives in the region.

Responsibilities
  • Develop designs, calculations, sketches, diagrams, and project models under the guidance of experienced engineers.
  • Apply design and technical knowledge to produce high-quality outputs within project timelines.
  • Assist in maintaining project budgets and schedules under supervision.
  • Collect and analyze information from discipline-specific and interdisciplinary project BIM models.
  • Utilize computer software to solve fundamental engineering problems.
  • Collaborate with engineers from other disciplines to ensure design continuity.
  • Participate in design progress and coordination meetings.
  • Ensure the quality of BIM / CAD model production by reviewing for accuracy.
  • Actively seek information, contribute to problem-solving, and drive efficiencies and effectiveness in project delivery.
  • Apply theoretical knowledge to solve atypical engineering challenges.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering, ideally with exposure to one or more of the following subjects from an accredited university: Fluid Mechanics; Hydraulics; Water Supply and Sewerage; Hydrology.
  • Candidates must be recent 2024 or 2025 graduates to be eligible for AECOM's Graduate Program.
  • Successful applicants must have achieved a minimum GPA of 2.8 (or equivalent) and above.
  • As part of AECOM’s commitment to Emiratisation and in compliance with UAE labour law, only UAE Nationals with a family book will be considered for this role.
