Job summary

Wood is seeking a Graduate Civil Engineer in Abu Dhabi to contribute to diverse oil, gas and energy projects while developing essential design, analysis and field skills. You will work within multidisciplinary teams to learn from experienced engineers and deliver reliable, cost-conscious solutions.

This role offers exposure to complex onshore and offshore projects, professional development through the Energy Transition Academy, and the opportunity to grow within a global engineering leader

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent (Graduate role).
• Strong analytical and numerical skills with ability to interpret technical information.
• Willingness to learn and develop professional engineering capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Assist in interpretation and preparation of technical information and design modifications.
• Support compliance with policies and procedures related to project assignments.
• Utilise basic engineering software and improving computer literacy for project tasks.

The key objectives for this role are:

• Ability to comprehend, interpret and prepare applicable technical information and suggest design changes to ensure functional and cost-effective results
• Demonstrates awareness of policies and procedures that affect specific job assignments
• Good level of general computer literacy and basic familiarity with some relevant specialist engineering software
