Job summary

Discovery Dunes Golf Club in Dubai is seeking a Golf Operations Attendant to support members and guests, ensure smooth operations of our exclusive facilities, and contribute to memorable experiences.

You will assist with golf carts, maintain equipment, provide valet services, and work evenings and weekends in a fast-paced team environment, delivering courteous service.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Experience in customer service, ideally in golf or hospitality.
• Knowledge of golf etiquette and terminology is a plus.
• Ability to work evenings, weekends and public holidays.

Responsibilities

• Assist guests and members with arrivals and departures at the golf club and range.
• Provide service during the round, responding to player requests.
• Stock and maintain golf carts with beverages and amenities.
• Ensure carts are clean, staged, and ready for use.
• Provide valet service and assist with parking luxury cars.
• Assist with setup, maintenance, and breakdown of range equipment daily.
• Perform closing duties including restocking and cleaning carts.
• Attend department meetings and trainings as necessary.

What You'll Do:

As a Golf Operations Attendant, you will play a key role in supporting our guests, members, and golfers, ensuring that their experience is smooth, enjoyable, and memorable. From assisting with golf carts to ensuring equipment is ready for use, you'll be an essential part of the golf team. You'll also be responsible for keeping the golf facilities in top shape, maintaining equipment, and providing assistance as needed.

Key Responsibilities:

• Greet and assist members and guests upon arrival and departure at the golf club and range.
• Provide service during the round, responding promptly to any player requests.
• Stock and maintain golf carts with beverages, towels, and amenities throughout the day.
• Ensure carts are always staged and ready for use.
• Ensure club carts and personal golf carts are clean and ready for use in correct locations instead of the main
• Provide valet service to members and park and collect luxury cars.
• Clean and count player clubs before and after each round.
• Set up and break down range equipment and amenities daily.
• Perform closing duties such as washing golf balls, restocking buckets, and cleaning carts.
• Provide valet services to maintain the highest standards of member satisfaction.
• Potentially provide caddie services if qualified.
• Attend department meetings and trainings as necessary.
• Perform any other duties as assigned.

What Skills & Qualifications Are Required:

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous experience in customer service, preferably in a golf or hospitality environment.
• Knowledge of golf etiquette, rules, and terminology are a plus, but not required.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and public holidays.

• Positive attitude, professional demeanor, and excellent communication skills.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Thrives in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
• Ability to stay calm and focused during busy times.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds and work in all weather conditions.
• Fluency in English (additional languages are a plus).
