Job summary

POWERTECH is seeking a senior aerospace manufacturing leader to qualify, develop and industrialize supplier bases across the UAE and international partners. You will own supplier readiness from capability assessment through APQP execution, process validation and ramp-up, while leading a dedicated Industrialization & Supplier Development team.

The role requires hands-on leadership, deep expertise in machining, casting and joining, and the ability to drive gating milestones under schedule

Qualifications

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical, Aerospace, Manufacturing or Materials Engineering.
10+ years aerospace/aero-engine manufacturing experience (supplier development/industrialization).
Experience with APQP, PPAP/AS9145, PFMEA, control plans, MSA.
Willingness to travel internationally.

Responsibilities

Lead supplier capability assessments for machining, sheet metal, welding, and casting.
Govern APQP, PFMEA, control plans, routings, tooling and process validation.
Provide senior technical authority for supplier manufacturing problems.
Lead root cause analysis for process instability and yield loss.
Present readiness and gate status to senior leadership.
Collaborate with Supply Chain, Engineering, Metrology, and Quality.
