Job summary

Tiger Recruitment Ltd. in the United Arab Emirates is seeking a Global Head of Cybersecurity to define and drive the Group's security strategy, standards and risk posture across multiple countries and operations.

You will lead a small central cybersecurity team, advise the Executive Committee and Board, manage major incidents and oversee SOC, vulnerability management, cloud and OT security, while ensuring compliance with ISO 27001, NIST CSF, GDPR and NIS2.

Qualifications

• 12+ years in cybersecurity with >=5 years in a senior leadership role.
• Experience leading cybersecurity across multiple countries or entities.
• Strong governance, risk and assurance background.
• Proven incidents leadership including major cyber events.
• Experience with OT/ICS security in asset-intensive environments.
• Certifications: CISSP, CISM or CRISC.
• Excellent board-level communication skills.
• Fluent English; comfortable working across cultures.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop the global cybersecurity strategy, roadmap, policies and standards.
• Own the Group cybersecurity risk register and overall security posture.
• Provide independent assurance that security controls are working effectively.
• Act as the senior cybersecurity advisor to the Executive Committee, Audit Committee and Board.
• Lead the response to major cyber incidents and act as Incident Commander when required.
• Oversee vulnerability management, penetration testing, red-team exercises and security assessments.
• Set security requirements for cloud, corporate IT and OT.
• Strengthen cybersecurity across production sites, packhouses, cold storage, farming and other environments.
• Oversee SOC performance, detection capability and incident response requirements.
• Manage third-party, supply-chain and acquisition-related cyber risk.
• Ensure compliance with ISO 27001, NIST, GDPR and NIS2.
• Lead cyber risk due diligence for acquisitions and post-acquisition integration.
• Build security awareness and a strong security culture across global teams.
• Lead and develop a small central cybersecurity team.

Job description

Must be based in the UAE We are working with a global, fast-growing organisation to appoint a Global Head of Cybersecurity. This is a senior leadership role responsible for setting the Group's cybersecurity strategy, standards, risk position and assurance across multiple countries and business operations. The role will provide independent oversight of cybersecurity while working closely with Technology, IT and Engineering teams responsible for delivering and operating security solutions. We are looking for a confident and practical cybersecurity leader who can influence without always having direct authority. You will be comfortable challenging senior stakeholders, making decisions during high-pressure incidents and communicating clearly with Board-level audiences. Experience protecting operational technology, production environments and critical supply chains will be particularly valuable.

Requirements

• 12+ years' experience in cybersecurity, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role.
• Experience leading cybersecurity across multiple countries or business entities.
• Strong experience in cybersecurity governance, risk and assurance.
• Experience working in a model where security engineering and SOC operations sit within another function.
• Proven experience leading major cyber incidents, including ransomware.
• Strong knowledge of ISO 27001 and/or NIST CSF.
• Practical experience with OT/ICS security, ideally in manufacturing, agriculture, food, logistics or another asset-intensive environment.
• Experience with third-party risk, customer audits and regulatory requirements.
• Experience supporting mergers, acquisitions and security integration.
• Good understanding of cloud security, identity, network security and vulnerability management.
• Relevant qualification such as CISSP, CISM or CRISC.
• OT security certifications are an advantage.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain cyber risk in clear business and financial terms.
• Fluent English and comfortable working across different countries and cultures.
