Job summary

EthosEnergy is seeking a Field Service Engineer to provide technical expertise and hands-on support for centrifugal compressors and steam turbines across customers in power, oil & gas, and refining sectors. The role involves extensive international travel and strict adherence to safety and site procedures.

Qualifications

• Degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline.
• Several years of field experience with rotating equipment.
• Experience with compressor OEMs such as MAN, Siemens Energy, Baker Hughes, Elliott, Dresser-Rand, Atlas Copco, Ingersoll Rand, or similar equipment manufacturers.

Responsibilities

• Perform compressor inspections, troubleshooting, and fault diagnosis.
• Execute major overhauls, maintenance, repairs, and equipment upgrades.
• Install and commission compressors, seals, bearings, gearboxes, and auxiliary systems.
• Conduct vibration, performance, and mechanical condition assessments.
• Interpret engineering drawings, OEM manuals, and technical documentation.
• Supervise technicians and coordinate field activities during outages and shutdowns.
• Ensure compliance with safety procedures, permits, and site requirements.
• Prepare technical reports, service reports, and recommendations for customers.
• Provide customer technical support and training.
• Coordinate with project managers, planners, and workshop teams to execute field work successfully.
