Global Facade Designer — Design-led Engineering

Job summary

Inhabit seeks a Facade Designer to join the Design team and contribute to global façade capabilities. The role involves producing detailed façade drawings, tender submissions, and 3D models across AutoCAD, Rhino, Revit, and SketchUp, while coordinating with clients and engineers.

You will ensure design quality, maintain documentation controls, and participate in workshops to explore cladding solutions. Minimum 3 years in façade design and a relevant bachelor’s degree are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Architecture or Bachelor of Engineering preferable.
• Minimum of 3 years experience in a facade designer role.
• Follow safety and QA procedures and maintain documentation.

Responsibilities

• Produce details of façade systems based on architectural sketches and assist in delivery of detailed façade tender packages.
• Provide 2D drafting using AutoCAD for architectural documentation and shop drawings for Façade/Curtain wall projects.
• Provide 3D drafting using AutoCAD, Rhino, Revit, Solidworks and/or Sketchup Pro for design development and drawings.
• Prepare façade technical specifications and coordinate with parties to resolve project issues.
• Maintain drawing protocols, document control and ensure quality standards.
