Job summary

Dubai Municipality is seeking a dedicated GIS support professional to assist users of GIS software and related applications in Abu Dhabi. You will manage installations, asset records, and distribution of administrative communications within the department.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree in GIS/IT/Geography. No prior experience is required, with emphasis on practical troubleshooting and collaboration within established workflows.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in GIS/IT/Geography or related field.
• No prior work experience required.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support to GIS software users and respond to service requests.
• Install and relocate devices, equipment, and connected peripherals.
• Update external mailing lists and distribute admin notifications and interruption notices.
• Maintain and update the asset database for devices, computers and vehicles.
• Prepare and update installation guides for GIS software and geospatial apps.
• Support Network Places and ArcGIS systems for new services or procedure changes.
