Job summary

BIM Middle East is seeking an experienced Geologist to join our geotechnical division in Dubai. You will supervise field investigations, oversee drilling operations, and contribute to the interpretation and reporting of soil and rock samples.

The role involves close collaboration with clients, reviewing laboratory results, and ensuring quality control from sampling to final geotechnical reports. Immediate start is expected for a full-time position.

Responsibilities

• Site supervision of field geotechnical investigations.
• Drilling for geotechnical engineering (Coring in Rock such as, TCR, SCR, RQD, Straight Rotary etc.).
• Making Geological / Geotechnical description for soil and rock samples obtained from boreholes; drafting logs.
• Geotechnical logging of soil and rock samples using gINT and Excel.
• Prepare, review and approve laboratory results for final reporting and geotechnical reporting.
• Participate in engineering discussions with clients from preparation to project closure.
• Perform duties related to company advancement as assigned by management.
• Inspect the performance & quality control of sample handling by drillers.
• Plan, direct and supervise soil investigation according to client requirements.

• Geotechnical logging of soil and rock samples by gINT, and excel.
• Prepare, Review and approve laboratory results for final reporting and geotechnical reporting.
• Participate in engineering discussion and meetings with Clients from preparation until closure of a project.
• To perform duties and jobs related to the advancement of the company as may be assigned by the management from time to time,
• Inspect the performance & quality control of the method of arrangement for the received samples from the drillers
• Planning, direction and Supervision of soil investigation according to the Client requirement.
