Job description

The primary focus of aGenO Solution Engineer(Pre‑sales) is to become an expert in a core set of Oracle products/solutions and industriesand to present the value proposition and benefits of our solutions to our partners, prospects and customers and internally to our sales force.

Job Requirements

As aGenOSolution Engineer you will be responsible for providing pre‑sales technical/functional support to prospective clients and customers via the internet, while ensuring customer satisfaction.

  • Deliver high quality standard Oracle presentations and demonstrations.
  • Present and articulate Oracle product’s strengths, relative to competitors.
  • Participate in the design, validation, and presentation of Oracle software solutions.
  • Good literacy in AI/ML, the Solution Engineer needs to highlight the strength of AI within Oracle Solutions.

Work involves some problem solving with assistance and guidance in understanding and applying company policies and procedures.

  • Working knowledge of Windows or Mac isa plus.
  • Will provide supervision of manager or mentor.
What you’ll do

At the end of the programyou will:

  • Use analytical problem‑solving skills to help customers understand their business problems.
  • Learn about Oracle solutions and help customers see how they can use them to solve their business problems.
  • Be prepared to work directly with customers and our sales teams on key selling activities, such as:
    • Performing proof of concepts with clients
    • Building repeatable solution demonstrations
    • Delivering hands‑on workshops
    • Creating new industry‑focused solution innovations
  • Be able to present the solution and value/benefits with certain industries to customers
