Job summary

Al-Futtaim HealthHub Clinics in Dubai is seeking a General Practitioner to deliver comprehensive primary care, diagnose acute illnesses, manage chronic conditions, and promote preventive health in a multidisciplinary outpatient setting.

The successful candidate will perform health assessments, coordinate referrals, educate patients, and build lasting relationships with individuals and families in the Al Karama community. English and Tagalog fluency are essential.

Qualifications

• MBBS/MD or equivalent qualification with DHA licensing eligibility.
• Minimum three years of clinical general practice experience.
• Fluency in English and Tagalog.
• Valid Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; ACLS advantageous.
• Experience in family medicine or outpatient care.

Responsibilities

• Deliver evidence-based general practice and primary healthcare consultations.
• Diagnose, treat, and monitor acute illnesses and chronic medical conditions.
• Perform physical examinations, medical assessments, routine check-ups, and health screenings.
• Request and interpret laboratory tests and diagnostic investigations.
• Prescribe medications safely and develop individual treatment plans.
• Review patient progress and adjust treatment plans when clinically necessary.
• Educate patients about disease prevention, lifestyle improvement, and long-term condition management.
• Provide urgent and emergency medical care when required.
• Refer patients to appropriate specialists and coordinate follow-up treatment.
• Collaborate with nurses, specialists, and other healthcare professionals.
• Maintain accurate and confidential medical records according to DHA and HealthHub standards.
• Follow clinical governance, infection control, patient safety, and quality requirements.

Ideal Profile

• MBBS, MD, or an equivalent recognised medical qualification.


• Valid DHA licence or eligibility for licensing as a General Practitioner.

• Fluency in English and Tagalog.


• Valid Basic Life Support certification.


• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support certification is advantageous.


• Strong clinical assessment, diagnostic, consultation, and communication skills.
