Job summary

Client of First Medical Center in Sharjah, UAE seeks a General Practitioner in Accident & Emergency & Trauma to support urgent and acute-care services. You will manage initial assessment, stabilization and ongoing care for acute conditions and injuries, coordinating with specialists as needed.

The successful candidate will have a medical degree, a postgraduate emergency qualification or equivalent experience, UAE licence eligibility, and strong communication and teamwork skills for a busy

Qualifications

• Recognized medical degree.
• Postgraduate qualification and/or extensive experience in emergency/acute care.
• Experience in Accident & Emergency, trauma or hospital-based acute care.
• Eligibility for UAE medical licence.
• Strong clinical assessment and emergency-management skills.
• Ability to work effectively under pressure and in busy environments.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

Responsibilities

• Conduct initial assessment and clinical evaluation of emergency patients.
• Assess patients with acute medical conditions and traumatic injuries.
• Initiate appropriate emergency investigations and treatment.
• Stabilize patients requiring urgent medical intervention.
• Recognize deterioration and escalate appropriately.
• Perform emergency procedures within approved scope.
• Coordinate referrals to consultants and specialists.
• Participate in emergency department handovers.
• Provide discharge instructions and follow-up recommendations.
• Maintain complete emergency medical records.
• Communicate effectively with patients, relatives, nurses and other healthcare professionals.
• Follow hospital emergency protocols and UAE clinical regulations.

Overview

A premium private hospital in Sharjah is seeking an experienced General Practitioner Accident Emergency amp Trauma to support its emergency and acute-care services The successful physician will be responsible for the initial assessment stabilization and management of patients presenting with acute medical conditions injuries and trauma The position requires the ability to work effectively in a busy hospital environment and coordinate patient care with specialist departments

Clinical Responsibilities
