Job summary

SOL Properties in Dubai is seeking a detail-oriented General Accountant with a real estate focus to manage accounts payable, accounts receivable, bookkeeping, bank reconciliations and financial reporting. The successful candidate will work independently, communicate effectively with suppliers and internal teams, and apply basic accounting principles using Pact Software and Excel.

A Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance is required, with 4–5 years of real estate accounting experience;

• Solid understanding of basic accounting principles.

Responsibilities

• Process supplier and broker invoice payments after verification and approvals.
• Prepare payment schedules for operational expenses, ensuring timely payments.
• Reconcile supplier statements and resolve invoice discrepancies.
• Coordinate with suppliers and internal departments on payment queries.

General Accountant- Real Estate (Payables & Receivables)

Position Overview

We are looking for a detail-oriented General Accountant with real estate accounting experience to manage accounts payable, accounts receivable, bookkeeping, bank reconciliations and financial reporting. The candidate should be capable of working independently and ensuring accurate and timely financial transactions.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee daily transactions, verify, allocate, post and reconcile accounts payable and receivable.
• Maintaining proper Bookkeeping and recording of transactions
• Process supplier and broker invoice payments after verifying supporting documents and obtaining the necessary management approvals.
• Prepare payment schedules for operational expenses, including service charges, utility bills and other property-related expenses, ensuring timely payments.
• Reconcile supplier statements and resolve invoice discrepancies.
• Coordinate with suppliers and internal departments regarding invoice discrepancies and payment queries.
• Maintain accurate records of supplier payments and outstanding Invoices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance or related field.
• Minimum 4-5 years of real estate in accounting experience.
• Proficiency in financial software (Pact Software will be preferred advantage) and Microsoft Excel.
• Ability to communicate effectively.
• Quick learner and can work independently.
• Thorough knowledge of Basic accounting procedures and principles.
