Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Consultant Gastroenterologist to join a prestigious medical facility in Dubai. The ideal candidate will specialize in diagnosing and treating disorders of the digestive system providing expert care to patients with gastrointestinal conditions.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive evaluations of patients with digestive system disorders
• Conduct specialized diagnostic tests including endoscopic procedures liver biopsies and esophageal motility studies
• Diagnose and manage conditions such as GERD IBS Crohns disease and liver diseases
• Provide consultation and referral services for inpatient cases requiring gastroenterology expertise
• Offer emergency coverage for gastrointestinal emergencies outside working hours
• Supervise and educate endoscopy staff nurses and technicians
• Participate in quality assurance activities including peer reviews audits and mortality conferences
• Ensure compliance with infection control policies and waste management procedures
