Job summary

POWERTECH is seeking a Structural Analysis Engineer to perform stress, vibration, and fatigue analyses of gas turbine components, including compressors, turbines, shafts, and bearing systems, within turbojet and turbofan programs.

The role requires experience with FEA tools (ANYSYS, HyperWorks, Simcenter Nastran) and a strong background in Mechanics of Materials, coupling design review with risk assessment and cross-functional collaboration.

Qualifications

• BSc/BEng in Aerospace or Mechanical Engineering.
• Solid background in Mechanics of Materials and gas turbine propulsion.
• 5–15 years of experience in structural analysis or related field.

Responsibilities

• Design and optimize gas turbine systems for life, weight, manufacturability and cost.
• Carry out thermo-mechanical simulations at design and off-design conditions.
• Perform creep, fatigue and fracture assessments; conduct vibration analysis.
