Job summary

Ecojob is seeking experienced and entry-level gardeners to join our team in Abu Dhabi, UAE. We have multiple positions, offering hands-on garden design, planting, pruning, weeding, and irrigation tasks in a dynamic outdoor environment.

Ideal candidates may have some gardening exposure, strong plant knowledge, and basic irrigation understanding. Accommodation is available if needed, and the role involves collaboration with fellow gardeners for ongoing garden care.

Qualifications

• Prior gardening experience is preferred but not required for entry-level roles.
• Knowledge of plants, flowers, trees and shrubs.
• Able to operate gardening tools such as lawn mowers and trimmers.
• Basic knowledge of irrigation systems.
• Physically fit for outdoor manual labor.
• Good communication; English speaking preferred.
• Accommodation provided if necessary.

Responsibilities

• Design and maintain gardens, ensuring plants are healthy and well-maintained.
• Plant, prune, and trim trees, shrubs, and other plants.
• Weed and fertilize gardens as needed.
• Monitor and control pest infestations.
• Install and maintain irrigation systems.
• Coordinate with other gardeners to care for all gardens in the area.
• Keep garden tools and equipment clean and organized.
