Functional Analyst – SAP Billing / AMI

Job summary

SSC Egypt in Dubai seeks an experienced Functional Analyst with strong expertise in utility systems, smart metering and AMI integrations.

You will gather requirements, run stakeholder workshops, define utility use cases, and prepare Functional Specifications/SRS while improving HES/MDMS processes. Hands-on work with SAP Billing, GIS, Portals and AMI integrations, plus DLMS/M-Bus/PLC/RF knowledge, will be essential to deliver data quality improvements and KPI/SLAs.

Qualifications

• Experience in utility systems, smart metering and AMI integrations.
• Experience gathering requirements, stakeholder workshops, defining utility use cases, preparing Functional Specifications/SRS, and improving HES/MDMS processes.
• Hands-on experience with SAP Billing, GIS, Portals, AMI integrations, UAT, Test Cases, Meter/Readings Troubleshooting, and Data Quality Issues.
• Knowledge of DLMS, M-Bus, PLC, RF, 3G/4G, Billing Processes, Visio/Process Workflows, and managed service KPIs/SLAs & Operations.
• Strong analytical, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Gather requirements and conduct stakeholder workshops to define utility use cases.
• Prepare Functional Specifications/SRS and improve HES/MDMS processes.
• Coordinate AMI integration testing, UAT and data quality remediation.
• Support SAP Billing, GIS, Portals implementations and ongoing data quality initiatives.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet KPI/SLAs and optimize billing processes.
