Job summary

Velosi Asset Integrity Limited in the United Arab Emirates seeks a Software Engineer (Full Stack PHP & WordPress Developer) to design, build, and maintain web apps. You will craft custom WordPress themes/plugins, implement Laravel/PHP backend, and deliver robust frontend using Vue.js and Blade templates.

Responsibilities include API integrations, database design, DevOps tasks, and CI/CD with Docker and GitHub Actions, plus hosting management and security best practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Software Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum 4+ years of relevant experience.
• Experience with WordPress, Laravel, and PHP development.
• Backend and frontend development skills across full stack.
• Familiarity with REST APIs, databases, and DevOps basics.

Responsibilities

• Develop custom WordPress themes and plugins from scratch.
• Customize WordPress sites to meet business needs.
• Integrate third-party APIs and payment gateways.
• Optimize performance, security and SEO.
• Develop and maintain Laravel/PHP web apps and RESTful APIs.
• Design backend architectures, databases, and migrations.
• Implement authentication, authorization and security best practices.
• Build frontend apps using Vue.js and Blade templates.
• Design and maintain MySQL databases and queries.
• Containerize apps with Docker and manage CI/CD on Azure or similar.
• Operate hosting and server tasks with cPanel/WHM and DNS.
• Use Git and GitHub for source control and code reviews.
• Develop AI/RAG pipelines and integrate AI APIs.
