Job summary

Fatherson International in Abu Dhabi is seeking a BIM Coordinator to develop accurate 3D models and ensure smooth coordination across architectural, structural and MEP teams.

You will perform clash detection, coordinate data exchanges, and generate fabrication drawings from BIM models to support construction and installation activities.

Qualifications

• Experience with BIM workflows using Revit, Navisworks, and AutoCAD.
• Understanding of Level of Development (LOD) 300 to LOD 400/500 requirements.
• Ability to coordinate multidisciplinary teams across architecture, structure and MEP.

Responsibilities

• Create 3D models detailing mechanical components and layouts using project data.
• Run clash detection to identify and resolve overlaps between mechanical lines and structural/electrical elements.
• Coordinate teams by sharing progress files with architects, structural engineers, and site managers.
• Extract 2D drawings to produce fabrication and installation sheets directly from the 3D model.
