GEMS Modern Academy in Dubai invites applications for a dynamic French and Spanish teacher who can also teach Spanish, with a January 2027 start. The role requires a B.Ed. or B.A.

with a PGCE in French & Spanish and QTS, plus a proven track record across Primary and Secondary learning. Ideal candidates will have at least 5 years of experience teaching Spanish in international curricula, and strong proficiency with modern educational technology including Google Workspace and Microsoft

Qualifications

GEMS Modern Academy - Dubai: CISCE Pathway: GEMS Modern Academy is affiliated to the Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations (CISCE), New Delhi, India and follows the prescribed curriculum of the CISCE in preparing students for the ICSE examination (grade 10) in the Secondary School and ISC examination (grade 12) in the Senior School.

International Baccalaureate Pathway: The school is authorized to offer 3 IB Programmes. The Primary Years Programme (PYP) is delivered from Pre KG to Grade 5. The school also offers the Middle Years Programme (MYP) and the Diploma Programme (DP).

The role requires a B.Ed. or B.A. with a PGCE in French & Spanish and QTS plus a proven track record across Primary and Secondary learning.

• Bachelor or equivalent with PGCE in French & Spanish and QTS.
