Freelance Creative Content Designer & Video Editor

Project-Based / Freelance | Al Ain, UAE

We are looking for a highly creative and experienced Freelance Creative Content Designer & Video Editor to support the development of a marketing and advertising campaign for an upcoming destination project in Al Ain.

This role requires more than graphic design. We are looking for someone who can develop creative concepts, build visual stories, and transform ideas into engaging short-form video and social media content.

The freelancer will support the project from the teaser and pre-launch stage through launch and ongoing promotional content.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop creative campaign concepts and visual storytelling ideas.
• Create teaser and pre-launch content that builds curiosity and anticipation.
• Develop storyboards and visual concepts for short-form videos.
• Create and edit engaging Reels and short-form videos for Instagram, TikTok, Snapchat and other digital platforms.
• Develop campaign graphics, social media posts, stories and digital advertising materials.
• Create motion graphics, animated typography and visual effects where required.
• Support the development of campaign Key Visuals and overall visual direction.
• Turn project features, attractions and experiences into engaging visual stories.
• Create different versions and formats of content for organic social media and paid advertising.
• Support photography and video-shoot planning, including shot lists and creative direction.
• Edit and adapt footage provided by the project team when required.
• Work closely with the project team from concept development through final delivery.

Desired Candidate Profile

Required Skills & Experience

• Strong portfolio in creative social media campaigns, graphic design and video content.
• Proven experience creating Reels, short-form videos and promotional content.
• Strong understanding of storytelling, teaser campaigns and audience engagement.
• Strong graphic design and visual composition skills.
• Video editing and post-production experience.
• Experience with tools such as Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere Pro and After Effects, or equivalent professional software.
• Motion graphics skills are highly preferred.
• Good understanding of current social media trends and platform-specific content formats.
• Ability to develop ideas independently and translate a brief into creative visual content.
• Ability to work on multiple content formats and meet agreed deadlines.

Location Requirement

Applicants must currently be based in the UAE.

The work may be handled remotely for certain tasks; however, the selected freelancer must be available to visit Al Ain when required for project meetings, site visits, content planning, photography or video production.

Applicants based outside the UAE will not be considered for this project.
