Job summary

Protege in Dubai is seeking an engineer to own customer engagements end-to-end, from feasibility to post-delivery support, with a focus on video data products.

You will translate customer model-development goals into executable technical plans and build tooling to turn raw footage into searchable, high-quality datasets. Strong communication and ownership are essential.

Qualifications

• 3+ years as an engineer with customer exposure.
• Experience working directly with media data, specifically video.
• Experience building and operating systems that process or deliver data at scale.
• Ability to translate ambiguous requirements and communicate technical trade-offs.
• Demonstrated end-to-end ownership of technical implementations.

• Experience with cloud infrastructure (AWS, Databricks, Dagster, Vercel)
