Job summary

Halian is seeking a Forward Deployed Engineer fluent in Mandarin and English to work on-site in Abu Dhabi. The role focuses on deploying and integrating AI-powered platforms for enterprise customers, bridging product engineering and client teams.

You will design and deploy complex software platforms across cloud, hybrid, and on-prem environments, build integrations, and lead customer workshops and demonstrations. Strong Python, API, and cloud skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a technical field and 4+ years in deployment or solutions roles.
• Strong Python development experience and API/microservices exposure.
• Proven ability to engage customers and manage stakeholder expectations.
• Experience with cloud, on-premise, and hybrid environments.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with enterprise customers to translate business needs into technical solutions.
• Design, deploy, configure, and support platforms across cloud, hybrid, and on‑premise setups.
• Create proofs of concept, pilots, and integrations tailored to customer goals.
• Lead technical engagements, workshops, demos, and deployments with customers.
• Work with product, engineering, and leadership to reflect customer feedback in roadmap.
• Troubleshoot across application, infrastructure, data, and integration layers.
• Develop scripts, APIs, automation tools, and custom functionality for customer workflows.

Key Responsibilities

• Work directly with enterprise customers to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Design, deploy, configure, and support complex software platforms across cloud, hybrid, and on-premise environments.

• Act as the technical lead during customer engagements, workshops, demonstrations, and deployments.

Required Skills & Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, AI, or a related technical discipline.
• 4+ years of experience in one or more of the following:

• Strong software development experience with Python and modern development frameworks.
