Job summary

Ali & Sons in Abu Dhabi is seeking a forklift operator responsible for the safe handling, loading/unloading, storage and distribution of automotive parts, while maintaining accurate inventory and complying with safety standards.

Under supervision from the Warehouse Supervisor and National Parts Manager, you will maintain records, operate the forklift safely, and ensure timely order fulfillment for retail and workshop counters.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of forklift and warehouse handling experience.
• Experience loading/unloading shipments and stocking operations.
• High school qualification or diploma required.
• Valid forklift driving license mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload goods using a forklift.
• Transport shipments into and out of the warehouse safely.
• Move parts between receiving, storage and warehouse areas.
• Follow supervisor instructions to organize stock.
• Maintain forklift and report maintenance needs.
• Follow safety regulations and procedures.
• Keep forklift documents up to date.
• Complete required forklift training and certification.
• Receive, store and distribute parts to counters.
• Read orders and shipping documents to identify items.
• Sort and store parts by codes and size.
• Pick, pack and prepare customer orders for dispatch.
• Label materials with IDs.
• Count and weigh items for accuracy.
• Update stock records in computerized systems.
