Job summary

Caparol Middle East and Africa seeks an experienced Forklift Operator for our Dubai facility. The role supports production and warehouse operations by moving raw materials, packaging materials, and finished products within the factory.

You will offload deliveries, store materials, and ensure inventory accuracy while maintaining safety and 5S standards. Candidates must hold a valid UAE driving license and have 2–3 years of forklift experience in a factory or warehouse setting.

Responsibilities

• Offload raw materials and packaging, inspect for damage.

• Apply FIFO and report old materials.
• Move finished products to transit area and verify against docs.
• Pack, sort, wrap, strap, and other factory tasks.
• Perform daily forklift inspections and minor maintenance.
• Drive company vehicles as required.
• Handle hazardous materials per safety guidelines.
• Maintain clean work area and observe 5S and PPE.

We are looking for a reliable and safety-focused Forklift Operator to join our Supply Chain team at our factory in Dubai. This role is essential to the smooth movement of raw materials, packaging materials, and finished products within our facility, supporting production and warehouse operations every day.

If you are an experienced forklift operator holding both a valid forklift license and a valid UAE driving license, and you take pride in working safely and efficiently, this opportunity is for you.

Key Responsibilities:

• Check supplier delivery notes and offload raw materials (RM) and packaging materials (PM), ensuring goods are received in good condition and escalating any damage to supervisors.
• Arrange RM and PM properly in their allocated storage areas.
• Issue the correct RM and PM to Production and efficiently stack and move materials from storage areas.
• Apply the First In, First Out (FIFO) principle and inform the supervisor immediately of any old or obsolete materials.
• Move filled finished products to the transit area, verify quantities against goods receipt documents, and coordinate with the Warehouse Operator.
• Carry out sorting, wrapping, strapping, packing, and other tasks as required within the factory.
• Perform daily inspections and minor maintenance on the forklift and other equipment (recharging, fueling, cleaning, oiling).
• Drive company vehicles when required for operational needs.
• Handle hazardous materials in line with all safety rules and guidelines.
• Check products for inventory accuracy.
• Keep the work area clean by removing empty pallets, plastics, cartons, wood, and other unwanted materials immediately after use.
• Strictly follow company policies, safety rules, and 5S standards, including the use of seat belts, safety shoes, and other PPE.

Requirements:

• Minimum secondary education.
• Valid UAE driving license (mandatory).
• 2 to 3 years of experience as a Forklift Operator, ideally in a factory, manufacturing, or warehouse environment.
• Knowledge of different types of forklifts and goods handling.
• Good communication skills and flexibility.
• Strong commitment to safety and to keeping a clean, organized workplace.
