Job summary

A leading engineering firm in Dubai seeks a Project Engineer to oversee project execution and manage site activities. Responsibilities include reviewing contract documents, obtaining material approvals, directing site supervisors, and ensuring timely project completion. Candidates must have an engineering degree and 2-3 years of relevant experience. Strong English skills and project planning knowledge are essential. Benefits are in accordance with UAE Labor Law.

Responsibilities

• Review contract documents and prepare a program of activities as per project requirements.
• Obtain material and drawing approval and order approved quantities for procurement.
• Prepare and obtain method statement material approval.
• Direct and control site supervisors and labors for timely completion.
• Prepare invoice and obtain payment certificates based on work progress.
• Obtain relevant authority approval and submit all close out documents.

Job description

Responsibilities

• Review of contract documents and prepare a program of all activities as per the project requirement to execute the project according to the stipulated date and specification
• Obtain Material & Drawing Approval and order the approved quantities for material procurement to meet the direct client specifications
• Prepare & obtain method statement material approval and manage the Installation activities to ensure operation is in accordance with contract terms.
• Direct and control the site supervisors and labors for timely completion of installation to meet the customer requirements.
• Prepare Invoice & obtain payment certificates / cheques based on the progress of work to ensure timely payment.
• Obtaining relevant authority approval and submit all close out documents to complete project handing over

Requirements

• Engineering degree from a recognized university in mechanical or electrical discipline.
• 2 -3 years of relevant project experience.
• Knowledge of Project planning timely execution handling a site team co ordination with office and site
• Good command of English Language
