Job summary

The St. Regis Abu Dhabi, located in Nation Tower, is seeking a shift supervisor in Food & Beverage to lead and motivate the team and uphold The St. Regis standards.

You will coach staff, supervise the service sequence, oversee the food pass and floor operations, and collaborate with colleagues to deliver flawless experiences for our luxury guests.

Required: at least 2 years in a luxury hotel and 1 year of supervisory experience.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of related work experience in a luxury hotel.
• Minimum 1 year of supervisory experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach and train the team to meet service standards.
• Ensure proper Sequence of Service standards are followed.
• Supervise the food pass and overall floor operations.

Job Requirement:

• POSITION PURPOSE
• To supervise, coach and train the team, by being a Role Model to them.
• Ensuring proper Sequence of Service standards are followed.
• To supervise the food pass, as well as the overall floor operation.
• Ensuring that guest satisfaction is kept at utmost priority.
• To answer guest requests and assist with complaints in a professional manner.

Essential Functions

• To project a pleasant and positive professional image to all contacts at all times
• Manage cultural needs and expectations of guests
• Upselling and identification of additional revenue opportunities
• Maintain and adhere to billing policies and procedures
• Punctual attendance to each shift
• Maintain positive teamwork at all times
• Accurate and timely delivery of orders to guests
• Arrange meal breaks for team members sensibly
• Allocate tasks to the team to ensure all duties carried out thoroughly and on time
• Coach existing team members
• Conduct daily briefings
• Prepare staff roster/timesheets
• Perfect knowledge of The St. Regis standards
• Telephone standards to be adhered to at all times
• Be able to prepare requested reports
• To perform additional duties within F&B depart.

Preferred Qualifications

• Related Work Experience: At least 2 years of related work experience in a luxury hotel.
• Supervisory Experience: At least 1 year of supervisory experience.
